Main responsibilities include:
Interacting effectively across client and operational functions, to manage your team to superior operational and business performance.
Support the management team in the effective liaison with the client to ensure the continual development of the guest journey.
Taking ownership and responsibility for all operational areas as directed including front of house, bars, back of house and storage areas.
Ensure all operational areas within your remit are fully stocked with necessary food, beverage, linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware in a timely manner prior to service, taking into account any relays and/or multiple service times.
Provide primary link between front of house team and culinary team.
Management of entire staff process including briefings, , staffing levels, feedback and overall staff welfare.
Ensure all team members consistently demonstrate exceptional customer care and knowledge of current menus, including basic knowledge of ingredients and how the dish is cooked
Assist with new team members by giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
Confident to take on both positive & negative feedback, provide a resolution and communicate to senior management where necessary.
Comply with all company and unit policies with regards to Health & Safety, Food safety, Allergens, Hygiene, staff welfare, personal presentations standards, Manual Handling & COSHH, Fire Regulations, Licensing Law, profit protection, Sales of Goods / Trading Standards and Environmental policy. Actively address all issues in relation to non-adherence of company standards.
Ensure you complete necessary checklists and paperwork as directed.
