We are currently looking for a junior Sous Chef to join our brigade at Imperial War Museum, Duxford.
This role is suited to individuals who have a passion for food and are ready to take the next step within the kitchen brigade, having accountability for our conference business.
The Junior Sous Chef role is integral to our future planning and there will be great opportunities for the right candidates to progress through the brigade.

In this role you will be in the heart of our culinary team and will have the passion to deliver great food experiences to our customers. We operate a grab and go cafe, a deli style cafe and a full table service restaurant for our day visitors, coupled with a busy conference and banqueting operation where we cater for up to 800 people in our amazing hangars.

Your main duties would include:
Taking a lead role in the delivery of our conference business in our newly refurbished conference centre.
Supporting the Head Chef & Sous Chef in the delivery of quality, inspiring, fresh food for all of customers and clients working in a busy kitchen operation.
Maintaining the highest health & food safety standards across the venue.
Inputting in to menu development and improving the offer for our valued customers.
Leading by example and developing our Chef de Parties & Commis Chefs so that we have natural succession planning in place.
