We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Head Chef to join our highly motivated and focused kitchen brigade here at the Edgbaston Priory Club in the heart of Birmingham.

In this role you will be the lead of our culinary team and will have the passion to deliver a great food experience to our customers/members. Main duties would include:
Provision of quality, inspiring, fresh food for our retail and corporate clients.
Leading a talented and passionate team – showing them culinary excellence.
Oversee a busy kitchen operation.
Overseeing stock control, wastage management and menu development.

The role is 5 days over 7 which will include working evenings, weekends, school and bank holidays.
40 hours a week. Hours from 8am – 9.30pm Mon – Fri. 8am – 6pm Saturdays. 8am – 4pm Sundays.

RequirementsExperience in a Head Chef role is desirable but not essential, perhaps you are a Sous Chef looking for your next challenge. You would be overseeing the whole retail operation, as well as managing the C&B element of the business.
Proven record of menu development, managing teams, confidence in stock control, ability to scale up to oversee larger events, such as The Nature Valley Classic Birmingham tennis tournament.
