Hospitality Staff – Grand National 2019
Here at Aintree Racecourse, home of the Randox Health Grand National Festival. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and friendly individuals who want to join our world class catering operation working across retail and hospitality areas delivering outstanding customer service.
Working environments range from restaurants and hospitality suites, retail, bars and back of house kitchens and cellars with each area providing a great experience to work in.
We would like you to join our team working at one of the World’s most famous sporting occasions – the 2019 Randox Health Grand National Festival, taking place between Thursday 4th April till Saturday 6th April 2019.
You will also join our team across 3 racecourses, Aintree, Carlisle and Haydock Park to work on race days, concerts, conferences and events – each shift will bring something different.
Rolls we are looking for include:
Bar staff – in both retail and hospitality
Waiting staff – food and drink service in fine dining experience
Box waiting staff – working in our hospitality suites
Kitchen porters – supporting our chef teams in back of house operations
Cellar porters – supporting our retail beverage functions in both public bar and cellar operations
Cashiers – managing our commercial responsibilities in hospitality areas
Team Leaders – operate a single retail facility ie: bars or food outlets.
Responsibilities include:
Service of food and drink to thousands of guests, clients and customers at all of our events.
Working as part of a small or large team
Adhering to all health and safety practices
Use of specific equipment which will be trained based on roll
Performing to a high standard including presentation, attendance and communication.

Requirements
As a person, you must:Have a welcoming and approachable manor
Show a high level of confidence and personality
Be flexible across multiple work roles
Deliver an outstanding level of customer service
Have an ability to deal with customer queries efficiently
Be able to form strong working relationships as part of a team and with management
You must be over 18 to work in a capacity serving alcohol.
Experience isn't essential as full training will be provided.
