We have a fantastic role for those passionate sales individual’s who would like to work in a unique venue. Ideally you will have experience within Delphi or similar system, be very organised and have the ability to multi task. The role we are looking to fill is based around 28 hours per week, but we can be flexible for the right candidate and can work around school hours.
To drive conference and banqueting sales to achieve the annual targets for the venue, working in conjunction with the Senior Sales Manager and Conference & Events Coordinator.
To manage all aspects of the unit’s reactive sales in line with the venue’s plan document and LVP sales process
To ensure the highest standards of accurate and timely customer, staff and management information and reports.
To ensure all sales administration is accomplished effectively & accurately in order to provide a seamless handover to the operations team.
•Passionate about hospitality, sales and customer service
•Ability to multi-task, think fast and to deliver solutions to customer requirements
•Creative in thinking and approach, confidence, enjoys a challenge, a good sense of humour, flexible and forward thinking to anticipate problems before they arise
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Computer literate and confident in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
•Venue industry knowledge
•Knowledge of diary management systems
•Ideally have a clean and full UK driving license with access to a car
•Ability to deal both on the phone and in electronic communications effectively with client and venues and to gain support or internal colleagues
•Experience of the hospitality industry, ideally with a catering or conference centre/hotel background
