Supervision and Management well-cooked, attractively served food, in clean surroundings within agreed financial guidelines, while ensuring that a cost-effective service is maintained at all times.

To monitor the performance of Catering Staff, and Service and ensure safe working practices are performed at all times, while maintaining the high standard expected from both the Compass Group and our clients.
To undertake further training, as deemed necessary by the Area Manager, to ensure the continuous development of both yourself, your team in the service you provide.

At all times you will need to be aware that both you and the catering team are a representative of the Compass Group while on premises. The successful candidate will be specifically responsible for the supervision of all catering staff, to ensure safe working practices are performed within the law and will also be required to ensure the well being of the team.
The successful candidate will be required among other tasks: Plan, prepare and present a high quality menu cycle, creating an evenly balanced choice of foods with regards to price, quality, sales mix.

Purchasing of commodities from nominated suppliers and keeping a record of such. Checking all goods received against invoice/order book and signing of such. To ensure the Kitchen, Stores and Dining Areas are maintained to as high a standard as expected by both Compass Group and Client Company.


A minimun of 2 years supervisory experience
