Medirest is part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, who provide a full range of Hotel Services (including staff, patient and visitors catering, domestics, portering and security) at over 130 NHS Trust and private hospitals
We are seeking to appoint new catering team members to join our professional and dedicated team at Kings Mill hospital. We are seeking applications from people who are very flexible with their availability, demonstrate your passion and committment and a future career path is waiting for you! Weekend working will be required and is an essential part of the role.
With varied responsibilities we are seeking people with a positive and cheerful attitude who will assist in the provision of a first class service to our patients, visitors and clients in a friendly, fast paced environment.
Maintaining standards of hygiene and cleanliness your role may include assistance in food preparation areas, service of food to patients, general cleaning duties whilst adhering to strict standards of health and safety and food hygiene.

Requirements
With exceptional customer service skills you will ideally have previous experience within a catering environment, however full training will be provided. We only seek staff who will provide a first class service while demonstrating initiative, flexibility and passion at all times.
You will be responsible for carrying out numerous assigned tasks involved in providing a quality food service for the benefit of the customer or patient. The post holder must be friendly and a helpful member of the team who shows initiative and enthusiasm.
We are looking for people to commit and work with us for the foreseeable future. You will need to be available to work 7am - 1pm and 12pm - 7pm and you will be given a 2 week rota where you work approximately 7 shifts over a 2 week basis.
All successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced CRB disclosure.
